i really really enjoyed this project. it actually got me interested in what we were doing which is pretty impossible since i have NO interest in the majority of the things we do in class.

i love how meursault realizes how he took everything he had for granted. thats really all thats left to say about this book. he’s still a heartless and emotionless person. he realized that he cant just sit by and let life pass him by, but unfortunately it was too late for him. OOPS! didnt mean that. ha. well he misses marie now. oo big whoop. im still not sure HOW he missed, if you’ve followed my blog, you get what i’m saying. well this book was odd and strange in almost everyway. i really enjoyed the way it was written, unlike everyother thing i’ve read this year, except for twilight, but that was person reading. i really enjoyed this blogging project aswell. i plan to keep this blog up, but not neccisarily for school use. i hope thats ok… ehh. well thats it for the stranger. kinda happy about it too. im sick of reading about this emotionless waste of skin and life.
wow. well i thought the whole time at the beach was just amazingly descriptive. you already know how much i love that. but anyways when he kills the arab man, it just seems like he did it to do it. he didnt really have a reason. i mean of course because of his friend, but he had to have known that the man wasnt threatening him.. there was one thing that stuck with me as i read, the day reminded him of the day of his mother’s funeral. i know this is significant i just cant figure out what the significance is. the other thing is, why did he wait before shooting the next four shots? iono. just weird. its really unfortunate that he doesnt care for marie. heck its unfortunate he doesnt care about anything or anyone. there were 2 quotes that i highlighted because they nailed what i’ve been trying to say on the head about “the stranger”. OH! my last interesting observation, when they were talking about god and religion and what not, the author always capitalized him or he when refering to god/jesus, whatever your preference. this is the only connection i have with him. i dont have faith in a god, but thats not what this blog is about now is it? alright thats all for now. i’m out.
are pointless. thats kinda all i have to say. school itself is just a waste of trees. i mean seriously. look at the rediculous ammount of paper wasted. ok. im still pissed about my stupid computer.
nothing to do with the stranger really. only the fact that my computer is driving me up a wall. and im going to throw it out a window. i swear. it wont open firefox so i’ve been using ie for like a week which has been whatever and now it will only open two tabs. i normally have like at least 15 tabs open at once. and im going to smash my screen. im so frustrated. i think i dented my wall.
when meursault is offered this job in paris, he doesnt respond with a direct answer. he never does. ever. he never wants to commit to anything, so he never gives a direct yes or no answer. just incase he wants to do it later or he doesnt want to do it when the time comes. when he was in school, he had ambition. apparently, once he was done with school he realized that they didnt matter. now, marie. she loves meursault because he’s peculiar, apparently. now when he goes to eat, there is a woman who sits at his table doing an odd task. he follows her out and for quite some time. he followed her because she was so peculiar. so does he love her? it just got me thinking. anywho, he’s always so pessimistic. its crazy. seriously. he’s always seeing the negative things.
everything else i’ve read just keeps adding to what i’ve said before about him. :] this blog is also gonna be scattered. the neighbor and his dog. all he does is contradict himself. he always talks down to his dog and treats him as if he’s worse than dirt, but now the dog is gone and he feels lost without him. the way the dog is treated seriously almost brought me to tears. when meursault agrees to testify it is putting him in a terrible position. getting in the middle of disputes is just throwing yourself in the middle of a bigger issue. not to mention bringing things upon yourself that is just going to come back to haunt you later. it just has trouble written all over it. his engagement is only to keep marie around. he just enjoys the things she does with him but only for his own sake. well thats the best way i can put it here on the edublog. xD you get it people…
well this post is going to be a bit scattered, sorry. he is extremely lazy. he moved furniture into his bedroom just so he didnt have to go to other parts of the apartment. he only does things when its convenient for him or he takes pleasure in them or when he wants to. he’s selfish. he doesntelse’s feelings unless they have to do with him. he excludes himself from the entire human race. he doesnt really care about anyone really go into much detail when it comes to interacting with other people. he describes nature and setting beautifully. especially when its sunrise or sunset. which is why it reminds me of the song i posted. he just lets life go on all around him while he just watches it, judges it, and tries to stay out of it.
